What the page is for

This page lists the Sophos firewalls managed in Sophos Central for your linked Sophos organizations, as of the last Sophos sync. Each row shows the firewall name, organization, serial number, model, whether it is online, its status, the number of Sophos cases, and the number of alerts that are not resolved.

The Cases and Alerts (Open) numbers are links, so you can go straight from a firewall to its cases or its organization's alerts. The list starts filtered to the Sophos organizations linked to the company selected at the top of the console.

What you see

  1. Filters: Organization, Model, Status and Online multi-select boxes.
  2. Search and buttons: Search all fields, Apply and Reset.
  3. Firewall table: Name, Organization, Serial, Model, Online, Status, Cases and Alerts (Open).

How to find firewalls that are offline

  1. Choose No in Online.
  2. Click Apply.

How to review a firewall's cases or alerts

  1. Find the firewall in the table.
  2. Click the number in Cases to open Sophos Cases filtered to that firewall.
  3. Click the number in Alerts (Open) to open Sophos Alerts for that firewall's organization.

How to filter, search and sort

  1. Choose values in Organization, Model, Status or Online, or type a name or serial number in Search all fields.
  2. Click Apply. Click Reset to clear everything.
  3. Click a column heading to sort; click again to reverse.

Tips

  • Sort by Alerts (Open) to put the firewalls with the most unresolved alerts at the top.
  • Search matches firewall name, serial number, model, status and organization.
  • Online status is as reported by Sophos Central at the last sync.

Troubleshooting

  • No firewalls are listed. Only Sophos organizations that have at least one firewall appear. Run a Sophos sync and link the organization to the selected company.
  • The alerts link shows alerts from other devices. It opens Sophos Alerts for the whole organization. Use the Device column or search there to narrow it to the firewall.
